Yin Yoga
Welcome to a quite contemplative practice-Yin Yoga

What it is?
Yin Yoga is a unique form of yoga that emphasizes slow, passive, and deep stretches designed to target the connective tissues, such as ligaments, tendons, and fascia, rather than focusing primarily on the muscles. Originating from Taoist traditions, Yin Yoga incorporates principles of traditional Chinese medicine, providing a meditative and reflective yoga experience that balances the body’s energetic system.
Who it is for?
For anyone, as it is the most adaptable style.
How it is done?
Yin Yoga uses gravity combined with body weight to gently and steadily
stretch and expand the connective tissues. Yin Yoga specifically aims to target the body’sconnective tissues through long, slow holds of cooling poses, allowing these tissues to expand gradually over time
Aim of the practice?
The primary aim of Yin Yoga is to seek stillness, as articulated by Sarah
Powers Stillness of body comes with non-movement of muscles. Stillness of the body leads to a quieting of the breath. Stillness of mind arises deep awareness.
This state can be achieved only by commitment and dedication. Commit to stillness and allow whatever arises to be just what it is
Hatha Yoga

What it is?
Foundation and introduction to yoga Hatha in Sanskrit literally means ‘stubborn’. Therefore, Hatha Yoga means the stubborn.
practice of yoga without the interference of the five senses and the mind. Hatha as Ha (sun) + Tha (moon) yoga, because of the fact that Hatha Yoga helps to purify our solar (Pingla) and lunar (Ida) channels.
Hatha Yoga is a traditional form of yoga that focuses on the physical practice of yoga postures (asanas) and breath control (pranayama) to create harmony between body and mind. The term “Hatha” is derived from the Sanskrit words “ha” meaning sun and “tha” meaning moon, symbolizing the balance of opposing forces. This practice forms the foundation for many modern yoga styles and is known for its methodical and accessible approach.
